8-Hour Hazmat Refresher Course

This 8-hour annual recertification course meets the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.120 for workers at hazardous waste sites. The course is designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste, and those who are potentially exposed to hazardous substances or health hazards. Topics include: Written Safety and Health Programs, Site Characterization, training programs, personal protection equipment (PPE), Toxicology and exposure guidelines, monitoring, decontamination, emergency response and more. Note: In order to take the 8-hour refresher course, participants must have completed an initial 24 or 40-Hour Hazwoper course.
