OSHA estimates more than an estimated 2.2 million workers are exposed to respirable crystalline silica. Exposure can have serious adverse health effects. Some examples include silicosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), renal failure and lung cancer. The standard also establishes medical surveillance requirements that are very different than previous standards related to asbestos and respiratory protection.

Our next 4-Hour Silica Training Classes for both General Industry and Construction, will be May 7th! If you need a different date or class, please let us know!
