CPWR Webinar TODAY - New Framework for Developing Suicide Prevention Programs
"Construction workers have one of the highest rates of suicide of any occupation, which requires developing evidence-based interventions tailored to the industry’s unique organization and culture. The CPWR-funded COMPASS project from Washington University in St. Louis aims to adapt, implement, evaluate, and disseminate key elements of the existing Australian “MATES in Construction” program in a way that is feasible for the U.S. construction industry. The COMPASS (Construction Organizations Mobilizing for Peer Support & Suicide Safety) team has been implementing, evaluating, and improving their program over the last two years and will be launching a second iteration of their playbook on CPWR's website next week.
