Evaluation of Noise Exposures - NIOSH

The NIOSH Health Hazard Evaluation Program recently evaluated noise levels in a manufacturer of mezzanines and metal walkways. NIOSH suggests upgrading to quieter machines, using vibration isolation pads, keeping equipment in good working condition, and making sure employees use hearing protection properly.
