FULL TIME MEDICAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / TECHNICIAN NEEDED NON TRADITIONAL FULL TIME HOURS

Access Compliance is an Occupational Safety and Health business, providing occupational medical services for employees in industry as well as first responders in the state of NY, both in our Utica office and on-site. We are a team of healthcare professionals (Doctors, PAs, nurses, technicians), who travel to clients’ locations to perform on-site physicals and other occupational medical services.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Full Time Office Administer who will be responsible for front desk duties, answering and making phone calls, scheduling appointments and processing paperwork. In addition to administrative responsibilities, this position also requires the applicant to do medical technician work, both in the office and on-site.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. Candidates must have a flexible schedule as non traditional full time hours include some week nights and Saturday mornings.

Compensation: Starting pay rate is $17.00/hr. Pay is negotiable based on an individual’s skills and experience.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License

• Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office)

• Personable qualities, as teamwork and patient contact is a vital part of this job.

As noted, prior experience with medical duties is preferred, but it is not necessary as we will train you to perform all of services required. Those services include:

• Hearing and vision screening

• Conducting electrocardiograms

• Pulmonary function testing

• Respirator fit testing

• Taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, height and weight)

• Breath alcohol and drug collection

• Equipment Calibration

• Urine dip

• Venipuncture/ Blood Draws (not required-based on technician ability and comfort level)
