Access Compliance provides Occupational Medical Screenings for first responders, primarily volunteer fire departments and businesses in the state of NY. We are a team of healthcare professionals who provide these services at our Latham office, and also travel to clients' locations to perform on-site physicals and other occupational medical services.

We are looking to hire additional technicians to assist us with these services. The hours are flexible; a non-traditional 40-hour work week with some overtime.

Office hours are weekdays, fire jobs are weeknights and some Saturday mornings. Candidates must have a flexible schedule as most on-site jobs are done in the early to later evenings, and some Saturday mornings.

No experience required

Although experience with medical duties is a plus, it is not necessary as we will train you to perform a variety of services.

You will be compensated for the hours of work, training and travel to on-site jobs.

Increase in pay will be based on an individual's experience and training.

Some services you will learn are:

- Hearing and vision screening

- Electrocardiograms

- Pulmonary function testing

- Respirator fit testing

- Taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, height and weight)

- Breath alcohol and drug collection

- Calibration of equipment utilized

- Urine dip

- Venipuncture/ Blood Draws (if you feel comfortable with it)

Candidates must have access to a car and a good driving record. We travel to different locations throughout NY and surrounding areas. This position is full-time with benefits. Pay is negotiable and is based on experience. Note: This is not a hospital setting, it is occupational health.
