"It’s Heat Awareness Day. As the weather heats up, workers who are exposed to extreme heat or work in hot environments should know the risk factors for heat-related illness. Workers at greater risk of heat stress include those who are:

 Not acclimatized,

 65 years of age or older,

 Overweight,

 Have heart disease or high blood pressure, or

 Take certain medications.
