This position is per diem, with availability in the evenings (Mon-Thu between the hours of 4:30pm and 10:00pm), and Saturdays (morning to early afternoon) .The hours are varied depending on the work scheduled and may involve travel to off-site locations within a 2-3 hour radius from Latham office (depending upon your location).

Duties: Primarily performing physical assessments for firefighters, vital signs, audio and vision testing, blood draws, EKGs, fit testing, and medical technician work when needed.

Mandatory training: Safety Training and orientation upon hire. Audiograms, vision testing, bloodborne pathogens, breath alcohol and drug collection, EKG and transmittals, fit testing qualitative and quantitative, PFTs, venipuncture/blood draw, vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, height and weight), calibration of all equipment utilized, and urine dip.

Hourly rate ranges between $12-$15/hour based on experience. Depending on your availability, and our work schedule, hours may range from 0 to 20 hours/week.

As this is per diem, there are no benefits available.

We reserve the right to cross-train staff as needed to meet fluctuating needs.
