NESCA/ECA/AGC - “Notary Public” Seminar - November 16th!

"The seminar will be held in person on Tuesday November 16, 2021, from 12pm – 2pm at the Building Industry Center – 6 Airline Drive Albany, New York.

A Notary Public is a public officer authorized and empowered within New York State to execute acknowledgments of deeds or writings in order to render them as evidence of the facts therein contained. A Notary Public is also authorized to administer oaths and affirmations, and to take affidavits and depositions. Notaries are commissioned by the Secretary of State after their applications are reviewed and they pass a written examination. All contractors, subcontractors and suppliers have papers notarized from time to time. So wouldn’t it be that much easier and more convenient to have someone on your staff become a Notary Public? The nominal costs of becoming a Notary Public will more than outweigh the time wasted seeking a Notary Public outside your office each time you need a document notarized. This seminar has been designed to assist clerical personnel to learn the information necessary to successfully pass the Notary Public examination. All registrants will receive a copy of the Secretary of State’s package of information as well as other materials that will help attendees to better understand the office of Notary Public."
