NRT Worker Safety and Health Technical Workshop - Today and Wednesday!

"The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been working with the National Response Team (NRT) to plan and host the NRT 2026 Worker Safety & Heath Technical Workshop! ( https://nrt.org/site/site_profile.aspx?site_id=185 ) The workshop is FREE and will be held virtually in Falls Church, VA, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 12:30pm – 5:30pm ET and Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 12:30pm – 5:00pm (ET). The workshop is designed for oil and hazardous substance release response planners, responders, and health and safety professionals.

This year's mission is to strengthen relationships among federal interagency partners, state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies, and non‑governmental organizations. The workshop aims to share knowledge, deepen collaboration, and promote practical solutions that help attendees better protect and support workers everywhere.

The workshop will also provide a forum to discuss current trends, exchange information, and support the ongoing work of the NRT Worker Safety and Health Subcommittee, which focuses on improving the safety and health of workers involved in oil and hazardous material response and recovery.
