"Please see the email chain below from Arlene Williams (OSHA Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs) with a link to a new OSHA Construction Suicide Prevention Poster."

--

"As part of our ongoing outreach related to suicide prevention and mental health in the workplace, OSHA has released a new poster, Suicide Prevention in Construction: 5 Things You Should Know, in both English ( https://www.osha.gov/sites/default/files/publications/OSHA4446.pdf ) and Spanish ( https://www.osha.gov/sites/default/files/publications/OSHA4447.pdf ). Developed with support from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention, this resource is intended for use in the construction industry, which continues to face a significantly higher rate of suicide than private industry overall.

If you are interested in receiving an electronic version of this poster that will permit addition of a third-party logo (e.g., for a company, organization, or agency), please contact Chrissy Morgan (Morgan.Christina.E@dol.gov) and specify whether you’d like the file in English, Spanish, or both.

For more information about Construction Suicide Prevention Week (September 9-13), please visit constructionsuicideprevention.com. For more information on suicide prevention in the workplace, please visit osha.gov/preventingsuicides.

Kindly share this information with your stakeholders, as appropriate."
