In case you missed it, OSHA has issued a new hazard alert on a storage tank explosion that killed a welder installing a catwalk on top of the tank.


The control of ignition sources is critical at oil and solvent extraction plants.

Implementing an effective hot work program can help eliminate hazards and avoid the potential for fires or explosions during hot work.
