OSHA Heat Resources

The "OSHA National Emphasis Program, for Outdoor and Indoor Heat-Related Hazards, was amplified and renewed on April 10, 2026. Coincidentally, the National Weather Service has recently issued an Extreme Heat Watch for NY & NJ starting Wed 7/1, along with Heat Advisories and other related cautionary statements."

"The current weather forecast in our area is extreme heat for the rest of this week. OSHA has online resources available to help communicate workplace heat safety measures to your coworkers and contractors."
