OSHA News Release: New Workplace Guidance for Opioid Emergencies
"The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration released a new fact sheet to help employers and workers rapidly respond to opioid-related overdose emergencies in the workplace. Links provided below and a PDF copy of the new fact sheet is attached.
During yesterday’s Region II VPPPA Conference in Atlantic City, Paula Cincotta from VPP Star participant Cintas First Aid & Safety presented a workshop on Naloxone Safety. Paula’s workshop presentation was outstanding. It’s a great example of how the Region II VPPPA Board works very hard when planning their conferences to deliver timely safety information about emerging workplace hazards and control measures.
