"As part of Distracted Driving Awareness Month 2024, OSHA and the National Safety Council (NSC) are convening a panel discussion on the critical role employers play in roadway safety. Roadway Safety is Workplace Safety: The Need to Eliminate Distracted Driving will be held on Wednesday, April 10, at 2:30 PM ET in person and virtually. The panel will feature Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health Douglas L. Parker, NSC President and CEO Lorraine Martin, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Deputy Administrator Sophie Shulman, National Transportation Safety Board member Michael Graham, and a representative of the private sector.
