"OSHA Region 2 is pleased announce its Safety and Health Virtual Summit, “Building a Safer Future – Workplaces During the Pandemic” being held from May 10th through 13th, 2021. This summit will be a digital outreach event geared towards every level in your organization, including business owners, who have a responsibility for workplace safety and health. Even if you just want to learn a bit more on these topics, please feel free to join us.
This Virtual Summit highlights several industries impacted by the pandemic and attendees will gain important knowledge to keep their businesses open while ensuring their workers’ safety at the same time.
We will launch the event on May 10, 2021 at 10 AM EDT with a General Session including presentations on: OSHA’s COVID National Emphasis Program; recordkeeping requirements; respiratory protection and face masking; and whistleblower, and EEO concerns. In addition to the General Session on May 10th, industry specific sessions will be held from May 11 to May 13th and will focus on: Healthcare; Retail and Grocery; Restaurants; Construction; and Manufacturing.
