In anticipation to the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, May 5 to 9; OSHA's NYC Region, Compliance Assistance Specialists, invite you to a free webinar. This webinar is part of our 4 Seasons of Safety Webinars Series. It aims to raise fall hazard awareness across the country in an effort to stop fall fatalities and injuries. Presenters will share information, best practices and resources about working safely at heights and how to prevent workers' injuries or fatalities.

Fact: Fatalities caused by falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction employees, accounting for 421 of the 1,075 construction fatalities recorded in 2023 (data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics). Those deaths were preventable.
