Dates: July 8th OR July 15th, 2021. Attendees are required to attend only one class.
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: North Colonie CSD – 475 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham, NY 12110. Directions will be sent to those who register.
Cost: $350 per attendee (lunch included). Free to participating schools. We will reserve a space using a credit card or Purchase Order #. Purchase Orders will be invoiced after the program. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance after payment is received.

This program is designed to provide attendees with an understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s requirements for the management and entry into permit-required confined spaces. We will be discussing both the general industry and construction requirements and the employer’s duties under the regulations.
Topics will include:
Definitions and requirements for confined spaces and permit-required confined spaces.
Employer requirements for inventorying and communicating hazards.
Permit systems.
Equipment necessary for entries.
Rescue services.
Training requirements.
Hands-On entry practice into a site.
Who should attend?
Directors of Facilities, Safety Officers, Confined Space Entrants and Entry Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors, and other interested parties.
