This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Richard Mendelson, Manhattan Area Director for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration on 9/11 and now OSHA’s Regional Administrator in New York, reflects on the lessons learned during the recovery efforts following September 11, 2001.
