Reminder, April CCPS - Safety Lessons from a Ship Fire

The April 2022 CCPS Process Safety Beacon summarizes the July 12, 2020 fire on the USS Bonhomme Richard to highlight the US Navy investigation’s findings which are relevant to process industry plants. One finding was that personnel were not proficient in the use of fire detection and suppression systems and emergency communications equipment.
