"Sun Safety Tips! Protect all the skin you're in.
Too much exposure to UV rays can lead to skin damage, premature aging, and an increased risk of skin cancer. Protecting your skin with sunscreen, shade, and protective clothing helps keep you healthy and safe.
The Albany County Department of Health recommends the following tips:
Seek shade or stay indoors from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.
Wear protective clothing
Wear sunglasses with 100% UV protection
Wear a wide-brimmed hat
Use sunscreen that is SPF30 or higher, reapply regularly
Follow these tips and you'll have a great and healthy summer!
