US CPSC: DEWALT Recalls Grinder Flap Discs

Please see Thursday's US Consumer Product Safety Commission email chain below announcing a recall of DEWALT® Grinder Flap Discs. The ceramic cloth abrasive flaps on the disc can detach while in use on a grinder, posing laceration and injury hazards.  The firm has received three reports of the flap disc coming apart while in use on the grinder, including three injuries resulting in cuts and scrapes. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled flap discs and go to the DEWALT website to participate in the recall.  The products were sold at industrial supply stores nationwide from September 2024 through May 2025. Please inspect your inventory for these items.
