Work Zone Safety

That person in the safety vest is someone’s whole world. A parent. A partner. A sibling. A friend. Someone with plans after work and people counting on them to come home. Every day, NYSDOT crews work along roads across New York State to help keep your travels safe and reliable. When you approach their work zone, your next decision matters. Put the phone down. Ease off the gas. Give them room. Slow down. Stay alert. Move over when safely possible. They’re looking out for you. Look out for them. #WorkZoneSafety
